Hello York
We arrived safe and sound in York this evening after a night in Cleveland. Kyle and the truck arrived about an hour before me, Brooklyn and my mom. Amazingly the truck was completely unloaded by the time we got here - and my rocker and bed were set up so I could finally lay down after a long day in the car. Kyle had been in contact with members of the ward to arrange for some help with moving in - but we never imagined a response like this. The truck was quickly unloaded by the men, dinner was brought over by the RS for the next 4 days, and the bishop stopped by to meet us a few days later. Thanks to all who helped out.

Goodbye Toledo
We left Toledo the day after Kirsten and Brooklyn got out of the hospital (what were we thinking??). Fortunately we had worked hard to have everything packed before the baby was born. Thanks to all in Toledo who helped load the truck, clean the apartment, hold the baby, and bring over yummy food - we couldn't have done it without you.

Graduations
Mr. J.D. and Mrs. M.D.Kyle earned his law degree last month, graduating magna cum laude. Now he just has to get ready for that little thing called the bar exam -- or two exams in Kyle's case.
Today, a very pregnant Kirsten braved the heat and received her medical degree during her college's commencement exercises at the beautiful Toledo Peristyle. After four busy years, she was determined not to miss her graduation! Kirsten's graduation ceremony was an extra-special event for our young family because Kyle, who had already been conferred his degree, was able to "hood" Kirsten and our soon-to-be-born baby was also there with us on stage.
We're grateful to those who supported us from far away and to those who were able to celebrate our commencements with us in person, including Kyle's parents, Kirsten's parents, Kari, the Gibsons, and Kirsten's grandma Ruth Nicholas who was a nurse for many years.
